and yes, in maximum ride, there are two parts you're prolly thinking of when you say "last of the avians." in one part, jeb tells max that they're the only recombinants left (which turned out to be a lie anyway) and in another, he says they're the last recombinants with souls.
which is true, but, see, we're older than them. 15, 15 and 3/4, 16, and 17. so, anyway, no hard feelings, and we're totally behind you all the way to stop the whitecoats--Itex, NuTex, or otherwise.

and about the winnie the pooh thing. my brother used to say it in boo language. otherwise he'd say booboo-booboo. of course sounding a slight bit like winnie the pooh though.
